Amanda K. Olekszulin, MBA, Board Chair, is a Sacramento native. She is the owner and principal at the environmental consulting firm Ascent Environmental, Inc. She focuses on providing environmentally sound and strategic solutions with a high level of client service. In addition to her technical role, she is also responsible for the financial and human resources management of the firm. Amanda earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marine Science from the University of San Diego and a Masters of Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento. She and her husband Richard live in Elk Grove and have two beautiful children, Alivia and Johnathan.
Steve Raymond, CFP, MBA, Vice Chair, is a financial planner serving individuals, self-employed persons and small businesses with their financial planning, investment and insurance needs. He is a Certified Financial Planning professional. Steve earned a BA degree in Mathematics from the University of New Hampshire, as well as an MS degree in Management Science and an MBA in Finance from the University of Miami, graduating at the top of his class.
Guy Black, CPA, Board Treasurer, is the owner of GEBCPA. Black is involved in helping businesses with accounting, consulting and taxation needs. These projects include consulting, system installations, interpreting financial data and making recommendations. Previously he has held multiple Senior level and managerial positions. Guy earned a BS degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and he enjoys home improvement, travel and college football.
Peter Dannenfelser II, AIA, Board Member, is the owner of Architectural Arts, with over 30 years experience in commercial Architecture. He has served on several boards including The Rotary Club of Sacramento, the Citizen’s Advisory Board for the renovation of the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium and the Sacramento Valley Soaring Society.
Dale Blunden, Board Member, is a licensed psychologist whose experience in providing consultation and therapy services in Northern California includes work with high-risk infants, learning disabled children, and jailed adults. In addition to the expertise she has provided to public institutions such as the University of California, Davis and the Sacramento County Jail, Dale has managed a successful private psychotherapy practice for over twenty-five years. Dale received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of California, Davis, and served as a member of the faculty of the UCD Psychiatry Department for five years in conjunction with her work in individual and couples therapy.
