Current Volunteer Opportunities
Help couples practice new communication skills as part of relationship education classes. The Flourishing Families Program teaches relationship skills for couples including goal setting, communication, and conflict resolution. Required training provided. #2 MFT/LCSW Trainee Relationship Skills Coach – Currently Full
Clinical supervision by a BBS qualified professional is provided to MFT or LCSW trainees. Required training provided. Cover letter and resume submission required. Full description can be found HERE.
Does the thought of community engagement and empowerment through social media excite and motivate you? The social media volunteer will be responsible for researching and curating social media content to support the outreach efforts the Relationship Skills Center. Do you see the world best from behind the lens? Do you want to help us share the magic that goes on in our classes and at our organization to the rest of the community? The photography/videography volunteer will provide and compile media from our classes and events. Full description and time commitment information can be found HERE.
Are you an outgoing and passionate individual interested in engaging with the general public and participants? The community outreach volunteer will help spread the message about RSC’s programs, resources, and volunteer opportunities base at various outreach fairs and events held in the greater Sacramento area. Are you the type of person who thrives in an environment of community building and enjoys making new connections? Interested in using your skills to help support our programs through procurement of items needed for use in classes and events? #7 Office Help
Assist with office operations at the Relationship Skills Center in whatever capacity best fits your skills, including data entry, assembling class and outreach materials, making phone calls, class setup, etc. Prior experience in an office setting and computer skills are helpful, but not necessary. We have very flexible scheduling. Office hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Do you have a passion to use the power of research to help inform our participants about Sacramento area community resources? Excited to transfer this knowledge to those searching of particular resources? The Community Resources volunteer will research, organize and distribute resources to our participants. The Grant and Fund Development volunteer is responsible for researching and applying to grants and supporting the fund development capabilities to support RSC programs and operations. Full description and time commitment information can be found HERE.
